About Lily Kitty
Lily May was a gift from God.  One night after prayer meeting we were getting ready to go home.  We went outside, and heard this little kitten crying under our car.
Someone had abandoned her.  We called out to her and she came to me.

We saw that she was very sick and starving.  She was so tiny and only weighed about 4-5 pounds, and was very weak and scared.  She needed someone to love her.

We took her home and fed her.  She ate and ate and ate.  The next day we called the veterinarian for an appointment.  At that time we did not know her name or if she belonged to anyone.

When we took her to the pet doctor, he told us that she was very sick and needed to have an operation.  But before she could have the operation, she needed to get better.  So we prayed for her and asked God what to do.

A few weeks later, Lily was bleeding and we rushed her to the pet hospital.

Lily was very sick and the doctor had to do emergency surgery on her.  Many doctors say that operations are serious on animals.

We prayed with Lily about her healing before she went into surgery.  We made sure that she knew we were not leaving her and she would come home with us.

God heard our prayers and Lily was healed!  God loves His animals very much and wants them to be healed and live happily with people that love and care for them.

This is our Lily Kitty.  God did a miracle healing in her this past summer.

How Lily was Named

God told us that she would have a good home with us and we were to keep her.  We had to have a great name for this special kitty.
I asked God to give me a name that would represent Jesus.

Since we found her in May
I wanted her to have it in her
name to remind me when we found her.  Jesus is called the Lily of the Valley, and the Lily of the Valley is the flower of the month of May.  We decided to call her Lily May because she was a gift from Jesus in May.
The care and food for the Soffy Pets is not paid for by the ministry, and is privately donated.  However, they  receive nice gifts and snack money (which they tithe and donate).
My parents don't know when I was really born, but they knew I
was only a few months old when God put us together.  They decided to give me a birthday in the same month as my sisters Ally & Bama.  So my new birthday is January 24th.  Now I have a real family!
Good people take
care of their animals.
